The Aviator Instrument pays tribute to aviation instruments from the infancy of flying, featuring the best possible readability, a precision chronograph, enlarged pushers, and vintage colours: all the ingredients of the unique knowhow required to recall the heyday of aviation watchmaking.2 4
How many fully independent watchmakers have a vintage dive watch to their name? Very few – and Nautical is probably the ultimate example of one. Bright colours, an alarm, and decompression tables that can be adjusted by a crown at 4 o’clock are the key features of this deliciously vintage diving watch.3 4
Vulcain’s dial with its concentric complications has been one of the distinguishing features of the brand’s creativity. Vulcain’s Revolution is generous, perfectly readable, contemporary – and has a decided emphasis on travel. The Revolution embodies the manufacture’s ability to become very much a part of the modernity of city-dwelling gentlemen.4 4

Founded in Le Locle by the Ditisheim brothers in 1858, the initial workshop subsequently gave rise to the Vulcain brand. Its remarkable complication watches earned numerous distinctions in several World Fairs. Yet the legendary reputation of Vulcain is essentially based on the development of the mechanical alarm in the famous Cricket movement. Its alarm watches have been worn by a number of heads of state, including Truman, Eisenhower and Nixon, thus enabling the brand to achieve its current status as "The Presidents’ Watch".
The watch for presidents.
