OUR HISTORY
After being founded in 1964, Les Ambassadeurs established itself very quickly as a trusted partner to the worlds most prestigious international watch and jewellery brands. These are currently represented in three boutiques in Switzerland, and now, of course, on our new eCommerce website. 2019
LUXEMBOURG, CLOCHE D’OR
Les Ambassadeurs is expanding abroad and opening its doors in Luxembourg. The sixth, gleaming new boutique from Les Ambassadeurs extends over a sales area of more than 400 m2 in the new luxury department store Cloche d’Or.
2019
CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED LUXURY WATCHES
Les Ambassadeurs is offering “certified pre-owned” luxury watches in its boutiques where they can be discovered in lounges specially created for this purpose. The range will be extended, offering our customers an even wider selection.
2018
ONLINE-BOUTIQUE
Les Ambassadeurs is celebrating the new online shop launch as part of the launch of their new website. Customers can now purchase their favourite watch styles whilst at home or on the go.
2015
LUCERNE, KAPELLPLATZ
Les Ambassadeurs opens its fifth boutique in one of the most beautiful squares in Lucerne’s old town and right next to the city’s main landmark, the Chapel Bridge.
2014
50TH ANNIVERSARY
In 2014, Les Ambassadeurs celebrated their 50th anniversary. What began in Geneva with the opening of the first boutique in 1964, has today led to the rise of an excellent and internationally renowned reputation as a top watch and jewellery brand. 2010-2013
NEW BOUTIQUE AMBIANCE
From 2010–2013, all Les Ambassadeurs boutiques underwent makeovers and now boast a new ambiance and avant-garde design. All locations offer open-concept customer service, known as after-sales service, as well as an exclusive space known as the Espace Connaisseur. Here, pieces of particular rarity and of interest to collectors are displayed.
2008
ESPACE CONNAISSEUR LAUNCHED
Les Ambassadeurs had long desired to create a space for enthusiasts of fine watchmaking to hold meetings and exchanges.
In 2008, Geneva's Espace Connaisseur was inaugurated. This intimate location for those in the know provides a haven for watch lovers to share their passion, as well as the opportunity to view a breathtaking collection of rare timepieces from the most prestigious fine watchmaking workshops.
1995
DOORWAY TO EXCELLENCE
Les Ambassadeurs present a new visual identity based on the theme of doors, which symbolise entry into the luxurious world of their partner brands. This brand-new image rapidly acquires international recognition.
1983
LUGANO, VIA NASSA
Lugano joins the circle of Les Ambassadeurs' celebrated addresses. Nestled in a romantic arcade between the lake and the old town, the new boutique brings Les Ambassadeurs' standards of luxury and warmth to Ticino.
1979
ST. MORITZ, PALACE GALERIE
In St. Moritz, Les Ambassadeurs opens its doors in the gallery of the famous Badrutt's Palace hotel. The most beautiful watch and jewellery creations can be viewed in a magnificent setting at the prestigious ski resort.
1971
ZURICH, BAHNHOFSTRASSE
Following the success of its Geneva boutique, Les Ambassadeurs opens a second boutique in Zurich, in a brand-new building. Designed to be a concept store, the space is entirely devoted to luxury and the comfort of its customers.
1964
GENEVA, RUE DU RHÔNE
Les Ambassadeurs opens its first boutique at one of Geneva’s most prestigious addresses. From day one, the spacious, well-lit, and decidedly avant-garde shop is a luxury destination for perusing the top watch and jewellery brands.
