The Tradition collection commemorates Breguet himself – the inventor of some of the greatest principles that still govern watchmaking. Drawing inspiration from the subscription watches he designed, these timepieces are a nod to the firm’s roots – and an expression of its forward-looking vision, with most of the developments in full view on the dial side.2 8
The DNA of the firm that virtually wrote the book on Fine Watchmaking practically goes without saying: blue-tinted, hollow-tip hands; fluted cases; gold dials; individually numbered timepieces signed Breguet; and 100% manufacture movements. The Classique collection is the ultimate expression of it all, enshrining the manufacturer’s original values.3 8
Bearing witness to Abraham-Louis Breguet’s links with science, the Classique Complications collection brings together creations in which the tourbillon is king – and technique is queen. The manufacture pours its expertise into each piece, reinventing the perpetual calendar or the minute repeater in timepieces of immutable elegance.4 8
Based on Breguet’s traditional values, the Marine line reinterprets them for modern times. These sportier timepieces for both men and women are brimming with imposing, contemporary character – as evidenced, for instance, by their rubber straps and excellent readability, embodying assertive, urban elegance.5 8
Whether round or, as in this case, barrel-shaped, a Breguet watch can always be recognised at a glance. The Heritage line is tangible proof of this, tweaking the manufacture’s distinguishing marks to create a one-of-a-kind collection in the firm’s universe – beloved and coveted by the most demanding collectors for its striking aesthetic appearance.6 8
Ever since its inception in the 1950s, Breguet’s Type XX and subsequent models have helped define the military watch. Observing very strict specifications, in addition to being robust and modern they are also very much high-precision timepieces, thus enshrining the Breguet ethos in terms of house style and fine workmanship. An absolute legend.7 8
Its profile often copied, never equalled, the Reine de Naples is an institution among women’s watches that has engendered a whole universe of its own, featuring grace and audacity in equal measure. Complete with hallmark crown at 4 o’clock, the egg-shaped format dances on the boundary between watch and jewellery with elegance and refinement – and transcends it.8 8

Breguet is one of the oldest watchmakers in the world.Founded in 1775 by watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet, it was awarded by the French Patent Office for the invention of its Tourbillon in 1801. With the production of the first wristwatch, in 1810 - 1812, Breguet stood out as pioneer in the watchmaking art. It was such a commercial success that some began producing counterfeits. To protect themselves, Breguet started engraving a secret signature on their watches. Till today these signatures remain a hallmark oftheir watches. Breguet’s exceptional models include the emblematic Marine collection named in honour of the French Royal Navy or the famous Reine de Naples collection radiates peerless femininity.
