BREGUET NOW AT LES AMBASSADEURS LUCERNE

Watches with the spirit of of the enlightenment and some pioneering inventions now available in Lucerne

We are pleased to inform you that we are welcoming a new brand in the range. As of 28 August onwards, Breguet is available in the Lucerne boutique.

Breguet is one of the oldest watchmakers in the world and a master of craftsmanship and iconic timepieces. Founded in 1775 by watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet, the company was awarded a patent by the French Ministry of the Interior in 1801 for the invention of the tourbillon. Breguet discovered the mechanism that compensated for the effect of gravity and thus gave mechanical timepieces exceptional precision. Breguet pioneered the modern watch with the first wristwatch, which was produced from 1810 to 1812. Breguet's exceptional models include the emblematic Marine collection, named after the French Royal Navy (la Marine Royale française), and the famous Reine de Naples collection , which radiates peerless femininity. As a result of all these inventions and technical innovations, Abraham-Louis Breguet became the most famous watchmaker of all time.
