The Atelier collection is home to the foundations of the Hautlence universe, complete with the honeycomb dials, off-centre hands, rectangular cases, and jumping hours that are Hautlence’s main distinguishing features. Now, the collection also includes other, traditional creations such as a tourbillon – in unusually modern guise.1 2
The HL2 and Vortex are exceptional concepts – and centrepieces of the Concepts d’Exception collection. Each creation deconstructs time and embodies a complete rethink of watchmaking kinematics to showcase outstanding mechanical power. In these timepieces, case and movement merge into an unusual sculpture of time – and bring it to life.2 2

This watchmaker, founded in 2004, is based in Neuchâtel. Its name, Hautlence, is an anagram of “Neuchâtel”, and its creations also reflect a brand-new approach to and interpretation of classic watchmaking. The watches crafted by Hautlence are known for their unusual shapes and structures, as well as an avant-garde use of technology.
Unlike conventional round or square watches, the watches of Hautlence have abstract eye-catching forms which encourage a second glance. The latest launch named “Vortex Primary” is no exception.
