Wolkenbruchs Reise in die Arme einer Schickse / Wolkenbruch's Wondrous Journey into the Arms of a Shiksa

On Friday, 15 March 2019, a “wondrous journey” took place at the Les Ambassadeurs boutique in Lucerne. Moderator Kaspar Loeb spoke with Thomas Meyer, the successful Swiss screenwriter of the film “Wolkenbruchs Reise in die Arme einer Schickse”, and Joel Basman, the talented lead actor.

Thomas Meyer and Joel Basman entertained the audience with humour, background information about the film, and a glimpse into the life of Orthodox Jewish families. The personal perspectives about arranged marriages, co-habiting and divorce were also fascinating.

During the cocktail reception that followed, Thomas Meyer and Joel Basman were happy to engage in conversation, and the atmosphere was extremely convivial.
