A signature of several watch brands, enamel painting is a highly precise art form encompassing untold technical secrets. The dial is a miniature canvas for a work of art.

Within the setting of the ESPACE CONNAISSEUR, the history, the issues involved in these crafts and the various forms of artistic expression,were explored and clarified by Girard-Perregaux, represented by the curator of the museum, Mr Willy Schweizer, and Timm Delfs, freelance watch-making journalist.

A demonstration rounded off by well-known enamellist, Vanessa Lecci, who prepared a dial in front of everyone, including firing in an oven. It was an unforgettable event.
