In 1950, Longines supplied the Swissair company with timepieces distinguished by hands that took 24 hours to sweep around the dial. This year, the brand has issued a reedition, named the Longines Twenty-Four Hours. Its hands along with the 24 Arabic numerals on its Superluminova coated dial enable easy and immediate read-off of the time, while its back, protected by a cover, reveals the movement. In an entirely different register, the Longines Dolce Vita appears in a softly languorous version. Light shimmers across the subtle combination of steel and rose gold, along with the diamonds sprinkled over it like a gentle caress.
