La Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud is proudly announcing its exclusive partnership in Switzerland with retailer Les Ambassadeurs, which is adding yet another distinguished brand to its select marketing network.
In order to celebrate this new partnership in a suitable manner, Ferdinand Berthoud and Les Ambassadeurs invited a select group of journalists and clients to its Geneva and Zurich destinations this week. Mr Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, president of Ferdinand Berthoud, and Joachim Ziegler, CEO of Les Ambassadeurs, welcomed all the guests to the commodious atmosphere of the Les Ambassadeurs boutiques. Karl-Friedrich Scheufele himself told the story behind the creation of the “Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud FB1” and described the watch as a fitting homage to the lifework of a watchmaking genius. It possesses a tourbillon and, most strikingly, a very intricate movement featuring a fusée and chain transmission.
After the presentation, the “Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud FB1” was jubilantly received into the ranks of the rarest of the rare pieces of the Espace Connaisseur, where it can now also be admired by all who wish to do so.
At the conclusion of the official part of the press conference, all of the guests were invited to sample President Scheufele’s own “house wine”. The Geneva-based Caveau de Bacchus (with branches in Gstaad and Gland) stores over 2000 different vintages in its wine cellar, and there is more than enough room for bottles from the Château Monestier La Tour.
