As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, Les Ambassadeurs is organising an exceptional auction of artworks based on the theme of watchmaking.
At a gala dinner to be held in President Wilson Hotel and in cooperation with famous auction house Sotheby’s, 14 artworks, autographed by their authors, will be sold and the proceeds donated to The Musée International d’Horlogerie in la Chaux-de-Fonds.
The auction will be conducted by Mrs Nathalie Marielloni, from Sotheby’s, to whom Les Ambassadeurs extend their warm thanks, as well as to Sotheby’s, for joining them in this exceptional event. The artworks are part of a series that has regularly appeared in the form of portfolios in the L.A Magazine published by Les Ambassadeurs group. Bringing together works by international artists from diverse cultural backgrounds, they all share certain fundamentals: a personal, distinctive view of watchmaking; a willingness to share emotions; an interpretation of the art of watchmaking through traditional art… These are the ties that Les Ambassadeurs have explored in ways venturing well off the beaten track, giving free rein to the artists’ creativity.
So, take a look at these wonderful works and feel free to ask Stéphanie des Arts-Loup (firstname.lastname@example.org) for further about the auction, since places are limited and artworks wanted!
